Hverjum og einum fylgir skraut sem hefur ákveðna þýðingu/minningar fyrir viðkomandi.

Dóttir mín var að flytja að heiman og þetta er gjöf til hennar.

My daughter just moved out from home and this is a gift to her.

 Efniviður og skraut er fengið héðan og þaðan. Ef einhver hefur áhuga á að vita um efni eða aðferðir þá vinsamlegast spyrjið hér í "comment" fyrir neðan og ég svara þar.

 Materials and decorations are gotten from here and there. If anyone has any interest in specific items or how I did something then kindly just ask in the comment section down below and I'll answer there.

Baukur - Canister (?)

Þessi baukur var notaður sem peningabaukur fyrir fyrstu íslensku skrappvörurnar sem framleiddar voru af Akurhænunni og m.a. seldar í föndurvörubúð í Garðabæ.

Þegar ég las "use pearls on your project" hafði ég ákveðið að nota þennan stimpil og þá small þetta saman: Ég varð að gera eitthvað með *gamlar perlur* því bíllinn á myndinni er jú algjör perla í sjálfu sér. Niðurstaðan varð strax geymsla/box fyrir gamlar minningar sem rúmast í einu boxi, boxi sem alltaf má stinga einhverju skemmtilegu í.

When I read "use pearls on your project" I had decided to use this stamp and everything came together. I had to do something with "old pearls" cause the car on the picture is a real pearl in itself. The result was a box to keep old memories that could fit in a single box, a box that you could always put something fun in.

Laufin eru alvöru lauf. Ég setti lím á þau svo þau myldust ekki í sundur.
The leaf are real. I put a glue on them to keep them from falling a part.




Ég notaði Crackle accents og svo fljótandi blek til að setja í sprungurnar til að gera boxið gamallegt.
I used Crackle accents on the box and then painted over with thin ink to sit in the crackles, to make vintage look.

Þetta er fyrsta boxið sem ég bý til með Grand Nestabilities mótunum mínum. Þetta var mjög gaman :O) Ég á örugglega eftir að setja eitthvað innaná lokið þegar ég er búin að ákveða hvað ég ætla að gera við boxið. Perlurnar sem eru límdar neðaná lokið stýra því að lokið sitji rétt á boxinu.

This is the first box I mage by my Grand Nestabilities dies. It was so fun :O) I know that I will put something on the inside on the lid, when I have desided what to do with the box. The pearls are glued down to guide the lid on the right place on the box.

Boxið sjálft er gamalt vindlabox.
The box is old cigar box.










Ég er ekki búin að ákveða í hvað ég nota boxið. Það gæti verið að ég klæddi það með taui að innan og svo bíður miðjan á lokinu eftir einhverjum viðeigandi texta eða nafn.

I haven't yet decide what I use the box for. Maybe I will cover it inside with textile. The center of the lid is for some appropriate sentences or name.
