Þakklæti - Thankfulness

Áskorun #51 hjá DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S BEST.

The text say's: The thankfulness lives in our harts.

Þetta er "hlutur" hugsaður fyrir kort sem maður skrifar á eitthvað sem viðkomandi finnst þakkar vert, varðandi lífið og tilveruna.

This thing/project is to storage cards that one wright on something that, that person thinks is worth thanking for, about the life or what ever.

Ef einhvern langar að vita um, eitthvað í sambandi við þetta, vinsamlegast spyrjið hér og ég svara hér :O)

If someone wants to know something about this project, please ask here and I will answer it here :O)

  16. Your card is awesome. I love the colors and textures you used. I'm one of the new members of DDSB DT, I hate I didn't get to know you. Do you have a pattern for the box? I want to make something similar for a couple of young friends of mine. I got dimensions from one person, but I now can't find her web address. Hugs, dj

  17. Hi Jona, I'm sorry the way I wrote my email must have been confusing, because I haven't received anything from you. It's texastransplant69@yahoo.com

(Some say if you don't want certain people to get your email address, type it like I did, because it's not actually a link like that.

  18. Hi JD !
Thank you so much for your nice comment here on my blog, I do appreciate it (as I do with all comments) :O)
I hardly never use template or anything when I make my project. I often make my own or if I have seen some great ideas I just look at them and make similar and it often looks like it is made with templates.
That "Think/drawers" I just made it my self. I had two boxes with drawers in (from Petaloo flowers I think) and glued them together. You can use big box from fire matches and really what ever you have. (You can also make the drawers and the boxes of cardstock.)
Then I covered it with pattern paper, except the drawers, I put ink on them and paper on the fronts.
The paper on the top of the drawers and the paper that stands up (with the stamp on) is one paper. If you look at the lace at the edges you can see that. I inked the back side of the lace black (it was with) and glued pattern paper on part of the backside and then folded a part of it and glued it down on the drawers to make the pictured side stand up.
I do hope you understand this and I have not used any wrong words that make this incomprehensible.
You can click on the photos and get bigger picture and then you will maybe see better how I did this.
You can of course ask me to :O)
Will you please led me know when you have made your I would love to see them :O)
    Hugs, Jóna.

  19. Jona, thank you for responding to my question. I've put one box on that I made myself also. I just wasn't happy with the box not really being very strong. I also liked the fact that yours had two drawers. Now that I know you used other items, I can check around and see what I can find. I'm hoping to post the second card/box today or tomorrow. Hugs, dj
